music share: data romance -- swept away.

Taking a break from my thesis to say: colour me unbelievably, utterly enamoured with this song.

Three things I love about it:

→ Awesome band name.  "Data romance" is a phrase that I wish characterised the relationship I have with my thesis.  As it is, this kind of romance is probably more like it.

→ Crunchy electronica and wind-like vocal stylings that are altogether quite perfect for spring.

→ Plaintive, starry-eyed lyrics that are enough to melt even this cynical heart:

I tried to keep a simple faith that love will find me here someday
and all the lines that we have made will turn in time and fade away

march 2011 in review.

Still behind on blogging, still enslaved to the myriad of demands from academia and elsewhere.  I currently lack the time -- i.e., I have ONE WEEK to write my thesis, and the sheer panic and *flail!* this induces do, in fact, necessitate that I put my capslock key to use -- to do a full reflection on the last month of my life, but it suffices to say that it was extremely busy.  April, at least the first half of it, will likely not deviate from that trend.

Ergo, very quickly:

This Month in Blogging

I went on spring break, though I have yet to post about my adventures in New Orleans.  I rambled about books -- because who doesn't, at least once in a while? -- before presenting a Pride & Prejudice picspam in two parts.  I share one of the more delightful poems I have read in some time; Oxford and Beethoven references in the same work?  Yes, please!  I daydreamed about sewing projects and rocked out to the aural equivalent of a sugar high while busily working away.  Except when writing this post, of course.
